The ex-Permatang assemblyman was driving the car at the time of the shooting and the Toyota Caldina went out of control and crashed into a divider on the North-South Expressway at Km455 heading towards Ipoh.

It is learnt that the bullets were discharged from a .38 pistol belonging to Abdul Aziz, which was found in the vehicle.

“We believe it is a murder-cum-suicide. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder,” he said.

He said there was one gunshot wound on Abdul Aziz’s head and two on Siti Rohana’s head when their bodies were discovered.
